This installation used the historic Whitechapel building on the campus of Albright College as its subject. In 2012 when a decision about building’s future was imminent and the possibility for its rescue was held in the balance, this artwork used paper and charcoal to speak to the fragility of history and architectural structures. The work both advocated for the preservation of the building and acknowledged the reality of the building’s uncertain future.
